TEDxBath invites you to global climate crisis seminar

By Ben Carey on 9 October, 2020

TEDxBath is inviting businesses and individuals from across the region to the launch of TED Countdown on 10th October, an event focusing on the subject of climate change.

Countdown seeks to answer five fundamental, interconnected questions that help inform a blueprint for a cleaner future.

The event brings together scientists, activists, entrepreneurs, urban planners, farmers, CEOs, investors, artists, government officials and others to find the most effective, evidence-based ideas out there.

The goal is to identify bold solutions to the threat surrounding our climate.

The event will be preceded at 3pm by a free TEDxBath online session featuring talks from some of the speakers lined up for its Spring 2021 Inter-Connected event.

Interpretations will be provided in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and British Sign Language by Kudo interpreters and students from Bath University.

The TEDxBath session will feature discussions on Local Action, Companies Offering Carbon Conscious Choices, Our Environment and Change Makers.

Bath and Somerset businesses represented at the event include Pure Planet, Cascara Vegan Café, Grant Associates and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios.
