Regeneration schemes in Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Worcester have helped South West developer Rengen to a record period of growth which sees the company’s portfolio top £150million* (Gross Development Value*)

The company has quickly established itself in the regeneration market, taking on a variety of city centre schemes throughout the South West. Rengen has formed several new joint-venture partnerships delivering multiple mixed-use schemes comprising residential, student, commercial, retail, office and open market rental developments.

The multi-disciplinary property developer is focusing on strategic development and regeneration across the South West of England. With its own highly experienced in-house team the company specialises in sourcing sites, funding, planning, developing and delivery across a wide range of sectors.

In the past 12 months Rengen has signed deals on 9 new projects adding to its already impressive portfolio.

The rapid growth of the company over the past 12 months shows the benefits and importance of urban regeneration and how repurposing sites for different markets can give them a new lease of life, delivering value to landowners as well as benefits to local communities.

Rengen has invested significantly in staff recruitment to service the rapid growth in development with 5 new appointments in the last 12 months. In addition, the company has made a significant investment in new offices in the heart of Bath where it is relocating its entire development team.

Iestyn Lewis, CEO of Rengen, said, “Achieving £150 million in our development portfolio marks a significant milestone for Rengen. Since our formation in 2007 our aim has always been to create high quality developments and bring brownfield sites back in to use.

“With the London market facing uncertain times, our strategy of investing financial resources into development opportunities across the South West, as well as building our land bank across the region, has proven very successful.

“Investment in staff means that our in-house expertise has given us the resource to deliver sites that other developers may not see as attractive. The last 12 months has been incredibly busy and we’re working on new acquisitions that will see Rengen continue to deliver further schemes over the next two years.”
