Two independent Bath businesses have come together and launched a glittering competition to promote brand awareness of each other.
Goldsmith and jewellery designer Nicolas Wylde and Peter Meacock, CEO of Bath Gin Company are working together to offer an exclusive cut diamond worth £10,000 to the lucky winner of a hidden ticket in a bottle of Bath Distillery Classic Gin.
The diamond will be one of Nicholas’s well known one carat Wylde Flower Diamonds – an exclusive diamond cut by Nicholas himself with petal-like facets. Nicholas is known nationwide for his designs and Bath is where is prestigious career as a designer began. His flagship store is in Northumberland Place and he also has a shop in Clifton, Bristol.
The Bath Gin Company has a distillery based in the cellar of its premises in Queen Street, Bath. At street level, the Canary Gin Bar offers the choice of hundreds of different gins to discerning customers including its own varieties.
For this competition, the winner of the ‘diamond bottle’ of gin will find the jewel in the bottle – not affecting the taste of the gin in any way! The diamond itself will be set in a sterling silver flower mounting decorated with classic pink enamel.
To be in with a chance of winning, customers must buy any 70cl bottle of Bath Gin from various stockists – and one will find the lucky ticket in the cap. They will be presented with the diamond bottle in early 2020 after the competition ends on January 31.

This competition will also include monthly giveaways of five ‘goody boxes’ and the competition will culminate in a sparkling reception at the Bath Distillery Canary Gin Bar when the winner of the diamond will be revealed.
