Simple Recruitment to support students with dedicated careers fair

Frome-based Simple Recruitment is collaborating with the town’s Norton Hill School to host a Career’s Fair for Year 10 students.

The event takes place from 9am-3pm on Monday 8th July and will offer free, impartial advice and guidance for those leaving education in 2025.

Jayla Wilcox, Managing Director of Simple Recruitment, said, “Finishing secondary school is often a scary period in life. It’s a big transition that brings about many uncertainties and expectations. It often raises that dreaded question of ‘what now?’. It’s completely normal to be nervous about leaving education, especially if you do not know what you want to do in your career which many people experience after school.

“It is because of this that Simple Recruitment are proud to be partnering with Norton Hill School to host this Careers Fair. This event will give Year 10 students the chance to discuss local business opportunities and gain an understanding of what different roles could be available to them and what local job opportunities entail. Employers will gain valuable insight to the next generation of talent, build bridges with local education, and will endeavour to future proof their business.”

The event will provide an informal setting where students can ask any questions they may have, and employers will be able to meet and understand what attracts those who are soon to enter the workforce.

Applications for exhibitors close on Friday 14th June.
