People across the South West interested in building or renovating their own home are invited to attend the National Self Build & Renovation Show.
Running from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th October, the show will feature life-size educational exhibits, a ‘Self Build Cinema’ with recorded talks offering crucial self build guidance, one to one expert advice, and products and services from over 250 exhibitors.
The event takes place at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon and measures have been put in place to ensure the venue and show are ‘covid-secure’.
Harvey Fremlin, Managing Director of the NSBRC, said, “We have put a huge effort into creating a covid-secure environment, with all the expected measures being implemented such as social-distancing, hand-sanitising stations and track & trace, ensuring visitors can enjoy a relaxing visit within our show-room and visitor centre.
“The October Show will look and feel a little different, with live presentations and tours replaced by recorded videos and audio guides, but there is plenty for people to experience and enjoy.
“The NSBRC offers over 250 exhibitors and visitors can book free one to one appointments with self build experts. Our helpdesk will be fully staffed with our own team, ready to answer any questions and offer support and guidance.
“We will also be sharing key homebuilding information in our ‘Self Build Cinema’ and we have three exclusive case study interviews being shown each day.”
The NSBRC is the UK’s only permanent visitor centre designed specifically to meet the needs of self builders, renovators and home improvers. It aims to inspire, educate and provide impartial advice.
