PureGym, the UK’s largest gym operator, is set to open its second site in Bath this week at the former Argos building on Upper Bristol Road.
The new gym, which will be open 24/7, will provide members with state-of-the-art equipment and affordable zero-contract memberships.
Savills advised the landlord, The Eyre Estate Investment Fund, on the letting of the building which spans c.20,000 sq ft across two floors and includes 51 car-parking spaces.
Clive Power, Director in the Retail team at Savills Bristol, said, “This was the perfect unit for PureGym, offering large, flexible open space across two floors with a generous private car park for their gym users. This will complement PureGym’s other facility on the south side of the River Avon.”
A spokesperson for PureGym, added, “There is huge appetite for affordable gyms in Bath and we are therefore delighted to be opening our second club in the city. Our newest gym is in a prime location opposite Victoria Park, will be open 24/7 and will provide a fantastic range of fitness equipment and classes, all with affordable zero-contract memberships. We have ambitious plans for UK expansion and look forward to welcoming new members to PureGym Bath Victoria Park.”
The gym will officially open its doors on Wednesday 11th May.
