New role for financial adviser

Chase de Vere, the independent financial and corporate advisers, has promoted Stewart Speirs to the newly created role of corporate senior manager.

Stewart, who joined Chase de Vere in 2016 as a corporate consultant, will manage a team of 17 corporate advisers based around the UK. The team provide employee benefits consultancy, workplace financial education and business protection advice and services for employers.

Glasgow Rangers fan Stewart, who is married with two children, has 31 years’ experience in the industry, having worked at Clydesdale Bank, Halifax Bank of Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland.

He said: “I am passionate about Chase de Vere and am relishing the opportunity to work with our team of corporate advisers. This team already does a fabulous job of helping employers with a range of services including employee benefits, workplace pensions, group risk and providing financial education in the workplace. I am determined to make a real difference to make our corporate advice services even better.”

Chase de Vere chief executive Stephen Kavanagh said: “Stewart has the skills, experience and determination to develop our corporate advice proposition and, with the introduction of this new specialist role, he can ensure that our corporate and private client advisers are working together to provide the best outcomes for our clients.”

The company, which has been going for more than 40 years, has 16 offices across the UK, including one in Bath.
