Bath-based office design and build company Interaction has completed a project with one of the city’s most successful employers.
Lovehoney, the UK’s biggest online adult retailer, was keen to invest in additional space as it aims to grow by raising its profile in new geographies.
The company approached Interaction after it acquired an additional 6,000sq ft industrial unit at the Locksbrook Road Trading Estate.
Interaction was appointed to coordinate the fit out of the new space into a bright and open workplace reflective of the vibrancy of the Lovehoney brand.
After just 10 weeks on site, the space was transformed. As well as a fresh environment for existing team members, the installation of a new mezzanine floor now provides space for future expansion.
Other key features include a flexible tea point and break out space, ad-hoc brainstorm areas with whiteboards and a choice of meeting rooms.
In keeping with Lovehoney’s vision, a bright and on-brand colour scheme runs throughout the new space, maintaining a positive working environment.
Claire Webber, Head of HR at Lovehoney, said, “We decided to partner with Interaction as we felt that they provided us with the most onsite support, innovative ideas and cost-effective solutions.
“On numerous occasions Interaction went above and beyond to ensure that the project was delivered in a manner that limited disruption to our day-to-day activities. All parties worked together to understand the intended outcome and what could be done to make it work.”
