Iconic Cycling and Walking Events based in Bath are gearing up for a summer of activity with two exciting events that benefit the economy of Bath whilst encouraging healthy and energised lifestyles.

Now approaching its eighth year, Bike Bath championed by Redrow Homes will take place on Sunday 30th June starting and finishing at the Rec in Bath.

Over 1000 riders of all abilities will enjoy a picturesque 25, 50 or 80 mile fully signed and supported route. Riders will also enjoy some of the region’s finest food and drink at feed stations along the routes and a celebratory pint of Bath Ale at the finish.

Bike Bath is regarded by many as the most female friendly ride in the south of England. The region’s business community are long time supporters of this event and local companies include HPH Property, Bath Ales, Royds Withy King, Carter Jonas, Fielden Clegg Bradley, MoreSoda web design, Integrity Print and Islington Motor Group.

Bike Bath 2019 will be supporting Mentoring Plus alongside the members of VC Walcot, the local bike club partner.

New for 2019 is the inaugural walking event, the Bath Marches, which will take place on Saturday 13th July. Starting and finishing at the Holburne Museum, the event comprises 2 challenge walks or “Marches” of 12 and 22 miles. The routes have been planned through wonderful countryside, taking in areas that are rich in local, natural and military history with a few hills to get the legs pumping. The event is suitable for individuals, friends , families, schools, businesses and a team challenge has also been created to add to the mix. The event is ideal for all charities to use as a fundraising platform and Iconic Events UK has confirmed that the Army Benevolent Fund will be one of their 2019 supported charities.

Richard Best, Founder of Iconic Events said, “Our objectives are to deliver a series of great outdoor active events in and out of Bath, offer interest and fun and develop events which benefit the economy of Bath. If we are successful with our new Bath Marches, then the event becomes sustainable and will grow”.

In 2018, Iconic Events UK wide events raised over £50k for 30 different charities.
