Get baking for the Great Genesis Bake Share

By Anita Jaynes on 21 May, 2020

Bath-based charity Genesis Trust which supports homeless and vulnerable people in the city, is hosting a lockdown-friendly fundraising event this coming Bank Holiday weekend – Saturday 23rd May- Monday 25th May.

The Great Genesis Bake Share is an opportunity to get baking, sharing and donating to raise vital funds for the Trust. Whether you’re a budding Nadia Hussein, getting sticky with the kids in the kitchen, or you’re just a massive cake fan, the Genesis Trust would love you to get involved.

Simply get baking, share it with family or neighbours in person or online, and donate. All the makings of a sweet weekend!

Hilary Long, Community and Events Manager at Genesis Trust said, “Our work depends entirely on the donations we receive, and we LOVE it that people are willing to fundraise for us, now more than ever. The need amongst our clients is the same, and we’re continuing to serve them, giving food, support and practical help to many homeless and vulnerable people.”
