It’s just two weeks until the inaugural Business Exchange South West Charity Conference.
Working in partnership with local firms we are hosting what we believe to be a first for our region. The conference is a Business Exchange initiative to support local charities and third sector organisations, helping them look at new ways to grow and diversify. The theme of the conference will be the future of the third sector.
Key subjects for the day include alternative funding streams, investment strategies, adapting donation platforms to a cashless society and brand creation to drive engagement and loyalty.
Anita Jaynes owner of The Business Exchange and event organiser said: “Having worked in the charity sector, corporate social responsibility has always been close to my heart. Since launching The Business Exchange, I have always supported local charities giving them free space in my publications, in print and online, to talk about their causes and appeals. I also encourage other businesses to send in their stories promoting their fundraising activities and creative ways of giving back.”
“I’m proud to have partnered with some of the region’s largest and most impactful firms to bring together this first for Bath and the South West. Charity and third sector specialists Stone King LLP, Milsted Langdon LLP, Novia Financial and Fidelius Group are working together to deliver this one-off event.”
The South West Charity Conference takes place on Thursday February 7, 2019 at Bath’s Apex Hotel from 9am-1pm.
