Bubble CiTea has opened a new bubble tea drinks bar at SouthGate Bath. Located on Southgate Place between Hotel Chocolat and Swarovski, this will be the first Bubble CiTea in the city and one of just 28 locations across the country.
The new Bubble Tea bar will serve a selection of fresh fruit tea, milk tea and crushed ice drinks, with vegan and halal friendly options available. There will also be seasonal specials, with the “Green Dragon” drinks series – made with matcha, vanilla and mango – available until the end of February.
Guy Henderson, Centre Director at SouthGate Bath, said, “We’re always looking at new brands and experiences to bring to SouthGate Bath, and Bubble CiTea is a great example of that. I’m sure the fun and unique drinks will prove very popular with our visitors.”
Bubble CiTea was founded by CEO Suneet Sachdeva, who first discovered bubble tea while travelling around Asia and Australia and wanted to bring the intriguing Taiwanese drink to the UK.

The opening adds to the existing choice of food and drink options available at SouthGate Bath, including BrewDog, Cosy Club, Smashburger, Tapas Revolution and Graze Bar, Brewery & Chophouse.
