Bristol Airport calls for expressions of interest in landside food and beverage provision

Bristol Airport is inviting expressions of interest from potential partners to take part in a tendering process for a landside provision of Food & Beverage services at the site.

The airport places significant importance on delivering exceptional customer service and these services will include, but are not limited to, the provision of hot drinks, breakfast, and other food items for both eat-in or takeaway. Landside is the portion of the airport which is open to the public. 

The contract was previously held by Warrens Bakery. 

Potential suppliers are invited to express an interest and respond to the Invitation to Tender by visiting the airport’s dedicated e-tendering site, In-tend.The procurement timeline will be as follows:

  • Expressions of interest/Tender Deadline – 4pm 20th June 2022 
  • Evaluation Period (including interviews if required) – Week commencing 20th June 2022 
  • Intention to Award – 12th July 2022 
  • Award – 20th July 2022 
  • Contract Start – 1st October 2022* 
  • Contract Term – five years 
  • *Earlier start date negotiable

The preferred partners are likely to be a UK, international or a local company that can meet the needs and culinary preferences of customers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

“The potential partner would need to demonstrate high-quality food and drink provision, outstanding customer service and offer value for money. The customer experience is key at Bristol Airport. The airport is a fast-paced and dynamic environment with innovation and new ways of working central to our business.”
