Bath Racecourse has won the much-coveted Racing Post Readers’ Award at the annual Racecourse Association Showcase & Awards event which celebrates excellence and innovation across the raceday experience.
The Racing Post Readers’ Award takes into account the most important judges of all – the customers, asking them to nominate examples of fantastic customer service experienced at the races over the past year.
Bath Racecourse collected the award from more than 300 entries, with the judges impressed by their clear desire to go the extra furlong for their customers.
Bath Racecourse was also named as finalists for the Food and Beverage Award and the Operational Excellence Award, with both entries centering around the recent redevelopment at the racecourse. The multimillion-pound redevelopment has seen a complete rejuvenation of the customer facilities at the racecourse and the building of the Langridge Grandstand.
The Racing Post Readers Award is not the first win for the Racecourse in 2016, with executive director Jo Hall named Bath Business Person of the Year in September and the racecourse catering team named Best Small Racecourse at the National Racecourse Catering Awards last month.
