Tickets for this year’s Bath In Fashion event have now gone on sale.

The event now in its fourth year is managed by Bath Business Improvement District (BID) and will take place between May 3 – May 10. Fashion will be celebrated throughout the city firmly putting Bath on the UK’s style map.

Bath In Fashion celebrates some of the best names in the fashion industry and this year pays tribute to BIBA founder Barbara Hulanicki -celebrating 50 years of the BIBA brand this year. Barbara will be in conversation with Hilary Alexander, former Fashion Director of The Telegraph.

Other headliners include Meadham Kirchhoff, credited as the most creative duo at London Fashion Week. Meadham Kirchhoff will be discussing their work with Bath girl Sarah Mower, contributing editor of American Vogue and the British Fashion Council’s Ambassador for Emerging Talent.

Bath in Fashion chair Sarah Mansfield said: “We have been working all year to put together another great line up bringing some of the world’s top fashion journalists, business leaders, designers and show producers to Bath for 2014 and 50 years on from changing the face of fashion with BIBA, Barbara Hulanicki shows her – still relevant – designs on the catwalk again.”

BID chief executive Andrew Cooper said: “This event would not be possible without the generous financial and in kind support of our sponsors, the BID levy payers, property landlords, retailers large and small and businesses across the city.

“Engagement this year has built upon the successes and participation of previous years and demonstrates our ambition in creating events that provide city-wide benefit.”

This year’s headline sponsor is The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa. The hotel has chosen the event to celebrate the completion of the property’s multi-million pound refurbishment project which completes at the end of April 2014.

General manager Sharon Love said: “The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa has been synonymous with style and sophistication for decades and has played host to some of the world’s most celebrated stars of stage and screen.

“We couldn’t think of anything more apt than supporting Bath in Fashion during our re-launch year.  As an independent hotel we love the way Bath in Fashion celebrates independent fashion retailers in Bath.”

The hotel will host a series of events throughout Bath In Fashion Week including a Vogue on Vivienne Westwood book talk and a Best of British Bridal Showcase.
