South West-based HR experts, Elle Chappell, of Circle Consulting, Jo Kangurs, of KeystoneHR and Polly Rathbone Ward of Rathbone HR, have set up a new, dedicated network specifically for HR professionals in and around Bath.
The three founders say that while a career in HR can be hugely rewarding and satisfying, it can also feel like a responsible and occasionally isolating position to hold within a business.
So – if you would benefit from a professional network where others understand the ups and downs your job involves, a forum where you can hear from speakers on the latest relevant topics and share experiences and knowledge with others in the same profession, the Bath HR network hopes you will come and join them.
Attendees will be sure to receive a warm welcome at the launch evening on Tuesday 19th November from 5.30-7 pm at Metrobank in Bath and there will be an opportunity to mingle with other HR professionals over a glass of wine.
Jo Kangurs, Director of KeystoneHR Consultancy Ltd, said,“As three HR professionals, we noticed a gap in the Bath business scene for people working in HR. The world of HR is constantly changing and employee’s expectations of their employer and the company they work for is evolving.
“Our aim is to provide a diverse range of seminars and workshops, with guest speakers who are experts in their fields, to provide up to date, insightful information to people working in HR / L&D roles. HR can also be an isolated place to work in so we hope, with this educational and informative network, it will give people a chance to share ideas and experiences with like-minded individuals for support and learning opportunities.”
She added, “We are very excited to set up a valuable HR network in Bath. Come and help us make it a success!”
