TV’s Martin Roberts to launch UK’s first ‘Achieve Expo’ in Bath

By Nick Batten on 22 September, 2017

Martin Roberts, the broadcaster best known for appearances on programmes like Homes Under the Hammer and I’m a Celebrity, is launching the UK’s first health, wealth and happiness Expo called ‘Achieve’ on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October 2017, at the Bath Assembly Rooms.

Achieve, which is sponsored by Legacy Education Alliance, will involve two days of “inspiring and interactive talks” from top celebrities and leading experts from the fields of nutrition, healthy eating, wealth creation, fitness, mindfulness and motivation. The exhibition is free-to-attend and will aim to showcase over 50 “leading brands” offering demonstrations and advice across a wide range of products and services. Speakers include Martin Roberts himself, Frank Bruno MBE, Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards and Sir Ranulph Fiennes among others.

Martin said he was “proud and delighted” to be launching such a “new and unique” weekend event under the Achieve name in his home City of Bath.

An exclusive VIP Gala Dinner will also take place on the Saturday night, starting with a drinks reception around the historic Roman Baths, which is being hosted and sponsored by the Chairman of Bath & North East Somerset Council. Martin Roberts’ chosen charity partners for Achieve 2017, The Forever Friends Appeal and Bath Mind will both benefit from the proceeds raised at the Gala Dinner.

Richard Gyde, deputy head of fundraising for The Forever Friends Appeal, said “The Forever Friends Appeal is thrilled to be supported by Achieve at such a wonderful event. Money raised from the charity auction at the Gala Dinner will make a real difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients cared for by the Royal United Hospitals each year.”

Kate Morton, chief executive of Bath Mind, added, “Bath Mind is delighted to be chosen as a beneficiary. We are a local charity for local people. The money raised will have a huge impact on improving the lives of people experiencing mental health issues, by providing essential support and advice to those suffering in silence and their families.”

The exhibition is free to attend and you can register for your Expo ticket now at www.achieve.co.uk.
