Stone King LLP has welcomed Rose Tranah to strengthen its commercial property team. She joins as a consultant and is based at the law firm’s head office in Bath.

Rose brings her extensive knowledge and experience of the commercial property sector to the firm. Having started her legal career in London she has since worked as a solicitor in commercial, industrial, retail and residential real estate in locations across the country. She has worked at several prominent law firms, including Rowe and Maw (now part of Mayer Brown), Charles Russell (now part of Charles Russell Speechlys) and Roche Hardcastles (now part of Osborne Clarke). She spent 12 years with Dempster Binning LLP in Southampton as a specialist lawyer in niche commercial real estate development and more recently Rose has worked with Metcalfes LLP in Bristol and Freedmans Law LLP in London.

Alongside her legal practice, Rose has developed her management skills and corporate governance practice through working at board level as an independent non-executive director within the National Health Service at the Royal Devon and Exeter Healthcare Trust (now a Foundation Trust) and within national sport with British Water Ski and Wakeboard. She also practises as an independent Notary Public and is an accredited mediator for commercial and civil disputes.

At Stone King, which has offices in Bath, Leeds, London and Cambridge, Rose will use her expertise to develop property related matters across the firm’s sectors.

Steven Greenwood, Managing Partner at Stone King, said: “Rose is a true expert in her field and we are delighted to welcome her to Stone King. Her wealth of experience and deep understanding of the commercial property sector will be a real asset to the firm.”
