Law firm Stone King has strengthened its team of specialist lawyers and support staff in Bath with 10 new appointments.
New faces include international succession and probate solicitor Amjed Zaman who joins Stone King’s trusts and estates team from Yorkshire legal practice LCF Law.
Amjed advises on succession and tax planning for UK clients who have assets overseas, and overseas clients with assets in this country. He is also multilingual and speaks both Urdu and Punjabi.
Stone King also welcomes solicitor Lily Langlois who joins the firm’s commercial property team having previously worked as a real estate lawyer at international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna.
Lily deals with a range of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and re-financing transactions. She also advises charities and faith organisations on property issues, and educational establishments on mergers and academy conversions.
Other new faces include Sarah Hindle who joins the family law team from London firm Creighton & Partners. Sarah specialises in local authority care proceedings involving children and previously worked for a French law firm in China.
Also taking up new posts are HR adviser Shelley Clayton, senior secretary Joanna Godwin, who joins the trusts and estates team, and Robert White who is a paralegal in the commercial property team.
Stone King’s business property team also welcomes legal secretary Joanne Hitchins and licensed conveyancer Manjinder Kang. Additional appointments include legal secretary Judith Logan and credit controller Andrew O’Neill.
