Start-up September Competition: Day 6 win with Enterprise Nation

By Anita Jaynes on 6 September, 2017

To celebrate our first year in Bath we’ve launched our Start-up September competition in Bath & Somerset. Start-up September is an incentive we came up with in 2014 to celebrate our first birthday in Swindon & Wiltshire, with the idea of helping other new businesses get their ideas off the ground.

Each day of the month (1-30 September 2017), we will be raffling a prize on Twitter. The competition is aimed at Bath & Somerset companies that have started out in the last two years, with the idea to support them with products and services that they might not be able to afford, but would add real value to their business.

Bath & Somerset startups should follow us on Twitter @TBEBATH and tweet us with the hashtag #Iwanttowin. All participants will be entered into a daily draw, pulled at 9pm each day.  To see a full list of the prizes click here. Full details of each prize will be revealed each day on our website www.tbebathandsomerset.co.uk

Today start-ups in the county can win a free ticket to Enterprise Nation’s Festival of Female Entrepreneurs in Bristol on Friday October 20, 2017. The event now in its sixth year, is taking place at the Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa. The festival brings together some of the UK’s most influential female entrepreneurs, business leaders and brightest start-ups to provide detailed insight for you to start and scale your business.

This year’s keynote speaker is Rob Law, founder of kids travel accessories company Trunki.  Rob was famously turned down for investment on TV’s Dragons’ Den, but went on to achieve massive success. He will be joined by Julianne Ponan, founder of Creative Nature, who secured investment on Dragons’ Den, but turned it down.

Tickets cost £49 for the day. For a full agenda of the Festival of Female Entrepreneurs click here.

To enter the competition tweet us #Iwanttowin @TBEBATH by 8.55pm tonight. Draw to be pulled at 9pm
