Significant growth for online personal trainer business

Bath-based online fitness and wellbeing coaching firm, Trinity Transformation, formerly Train Eat Gain, has revealed a 150% growth of year-on-year turnover to £319,000.

In addition to achieving record turnover, the company has also launched a brand new fitness and training programme, Trinity Transformation Academy, and employed an additional two personal trainers to support the business’ continued growth.

Established in 2014 by University of Bath graduates, 28-year-old Rob Birkhead and 27-year-old Ben Hughes, Trinity Transformation has helped more than 3,000 women across the UK lose weight, gain confidence, and feel in control of their bodies.

What’s more, following a study by The University of Birmingham that found exercise and physical wellbeing helps significantly alleviate postnatal depression, Ben and Rob are more focused than ever to tailor their coaching programmes to mums.

The fitness experts use a combination of tailored nutrition, exercise regimes, and dedicated mindset coaching to encourage their clients to stick to a 12-month transformation programme, designed to equip them with the mental and physical tools to continue their journey on their own once they’ve completed the academy.

The Trinity Transformation coaching package includes; a customised four phase action plan, dedicated personal coach, weekly check ins and monthly reviews, flexible nutrition plan, age and gender-specific workouts, mindset coaching, access to a private online community, and 24/7 accountability from your personal coach.

Rob Birkhead, Managing Director and joint-founder of Trinity Transformation said, “It’s been a long journey for Ben and I since we started the business, living off one salary while we developed the first version of our programme. We’re very proud of the business’ progression and believe our latest turnover figures are testament to our whole-hearted commitment to building a new approach that is designed to empower women to regain control and confidence both physically and mentally.

“Trinity Transformation was born out of a genuine love and passion for fitness and wellbeing, however we could see that other online coaching programmes focused too much on strict diets and exercise regimes that were unsustainable. We saw an opportunity to utilise our personal experience and approach to fitness, to develop a new programme that taught people how to take control of their health and fitness and fit it around their life, rather than taking it over and making it a misery.

“In addition, mental wellbeing is incredibly important to us – particularly when it comes to devising programmes for new mums – and we’ve made positive mindset coaching an intrinsic part of the programme which serves to address deeper rooted issues than simply how somebody looks.

“Our plans for the next 12 months include building on the Trinity Transformation programme introducing a series of weekend retreats, both in the UK and abroad, as well as continuing to expand our coaching team to service even more clients.”
