Lawyers from UK Top 100 law firm Royds Withy King have advised Bath-based property developers Kersfield on the acquisition of the Redland High School site in Bristol. The historic independent girls’ school was at the site since 1885 but recently moved as part of its merger with Red Maids’ School.
The plans for the development of the three-acre site include the restoration of a Palladian mansion, listed buildings and grounds and their conversion for residential use.
Edward Cooke and Charlotte Hale, from Royds Withy King’s Commercial Property team based in Bath, advised Kersfield on the acquisition of the site and continue to act for them on all aspects of the development. Katharine Mortimer, head of the firm’s Corporate & Commercial team in Bath, provided funding advice for the transaction.
