NatWest has appointed Andrew Houchin as Director of Commercial Banking for Bath & North Wiltshire.

Andrew, who spent six years in the Army as an Infantry Officer, joined NatWest’s parent company RBS in 2011 as a Programme Manager, overseeing a £2.4m data distribution programme designed to support the improvement of the bank’s customer engagement processes.

He then went on to become Sales Management Director for RBS’ Corporate team in London where he worked on maximising the effectiveness of customer engagement, before his most recent role as Head of Customer Experience Delivery for the South West of England and South Wales regions.

His new role will involve leading a team of seven relationship managers that provide a range of financial advice to some 500 commercial customers across Bath and North Wiltshire that have an annual turnover of over £2m and lending requirements of over £500,000.

Andy lives with his wife and two children in Marlborough having moved back to Wiltshire from London two years ago.
