South West law firm Mogers Drewett has strengthened its Later Life Support team within the firm’s Private Client department with the appointment of Sarah Dodd as Head of the team.
Dedicated to providing services for later life and vulnerable clients, including elderly, special needs or children, the Later Life Support team specifically focuses on issues such as care home management, lasting power of attorney, order protection, Wills and looking after affairs for the elderly.
“The Later Life Support service at Mogers Drewett has become more specific,” explained Sarah Dodd. “We have a team of four dedicated to the challenges that vulnerable private clients, and especially older people face. We are an increasingly aged population, so the need for these services is growing and becoming more critical.
“It is right that the team is given more focus and empathises with the challenges that these groups face, and can provide a service that is suitable, including how elderly people prefer to be contacted. Many do not use email and other modern methods of communication, so we offer a bespoke approach for each client and pride ourselves on the level of personal service we provide.”
Sarah joined Mogers Drewett in October 2015. She qualified in South Africa as an attorney, and brings 15 years’ post qualification experience to the role, including a Directorship of her previous firm. Sarah is a full member of Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and is based in the firm’s Bath office.
