Milsted Langdon scales new heights in business networking

To challenge perceptions of accountancy being a boring profession, South West firm, Milsted Langdon is inviting its professional colleagues to ‘harness up’ and join them for an evening of rock climbing.

The team has invited its local professional contacts to join them for the event so they can network and “see what they’re made of.”

Led by partner and amateur climber, Simon Rowe, guests of the firm will join Milsted Langdon’s team at Redpoint Bristol in Winterstoke Road for an introduction to the sport.

Speaking ahead of the event, Simon said: “There are any number of well-worn clichés one could use to justify running an event like this but in reality it as about doing something different and having some fun. One of the pleasures of working in this region is the close professional friendships which develop and knowing that the other person literally has your life in their hands can only strengthen that.”

The evening will include two hours of climbing with qualified instructors to give guests a taste of climbing, followed by a “relaxed” dinner, where guests can “ease their frayed nerves.”

Simon added: “At Milsted Langdon we like to think that we are different from your ‘typical’ accountancy firm and this extends to the way that we interact with our professional colleagues. We have high hopes that this will be a successful event.”

Milsted Langdon has offices in Bath, Bristol, London, Taunton and Yeovil.
