Clive Hetherington has been appointed to work with KPMG’s privately-owned business offering as an Enterprise Ambassador, after 33 years with Lloyds Banking Group.

Clive spent the latter 14 years of his career as the commercial banking regional director with Lloyds. He is also a board member of UWE Bristol’s Business and law advisory board, and a trustee of the Royal West of England Academy.

Clive, who will be working with the firm’s Bristol team, said: “Working with KPMG is a great opportunity for me to broaden my experience and build on my existing relationships with the South West’s finest privately-owned businesses.”

Ian Brokenshire, KPMG’s Lead for Enterprise in the South West, said: “We have highlighted significant opportunities among privately-owned businesses in the South West, and so we have been able to expand our team significantly in the last year.

“Clive’s experience and links with a large number of businesses in the South West will be invaluable to our Enterprise team, and we’re thrilled to have him on board as an ambassador.”

KPMG’s Enterprise offering helps privately-owned businesses to achieve their growth ambitions by combining deep business and industry expertise with a dedicated focus.
