Bath-based HPH Commercial Property has recently completed a programme of refurbishment for one of its tenants.
Prezola Ltd, which has its head office on Queen Square, is run by Dom and Ali Beaven and provides a wedding gift list service which allows couples to select products from over 100 of the UKs leading high street and online retailers. The company’s design experts source over 30,000 products allowing couples to browse everything the market has to offer in one place, and provides a gift wrapping and delivery service to complete the package.
Prezola moved its warehousing operation to Westbury in 2014 to allow for future expansion, signing a deal on 5,600 sq ft of space within the Woodland Estate. At the time HPH assisted the company by fitting out the unit, incorporating external glazed screens to increase the internal office space and installing additional heating and lighting.
Over recent months HPH has again worked closely with Prezola to allow for their continued exponential growth, developing 13,000 sq ft for the expanding business and investing further in a range of practical upgrades including advanced, responsive lighting which automatically lights up areas of the warehouse in use. An additional loading door was also installed along with double glazing throughout, with the refurbishment completed in just 12 weeks.
The refurbishment has boosted the unit’s eco-credentials making it more efficient and cheaper to run. The energy savings will be passed on directly to Prezola.
Dom Beaven said, “We have a close working relationship with HPH, and Lindsay and his team listened to our requirements to allow them to come up with a schedule of refurbishment that has caused minimal disruption to our day to day operation as we scale up into this new site.
