CRS doubles projected figures in first two years

CRS Building Supplies Ltd is celebrating its anniversary at Moor Park, Weston-Super-Mare.

The independent builders’ merchant, which has seven branches throughout Somerset, continues to go from strength to strength with the Moor Park branch surpassing all expectations.

Opened in September 2014 the outlet serves thousands of tradespeople each month from Weston-Super-Mare and wider region.

In its first two years the outlet has doubled its projected figures by establishing a broad customer base from small builders and medium sized companies ancillary to the construction industry, to self-builders and people undertaking home and garden improvement projects.

CRS Director Richard Liddle explains, “Moor Park continues to be a fantastic location for CRS. For us, the location is key – we’re the only merchant on the Worle side of town and we serve a ten mile radius. Our location gives us easy access to the main roads and the M5, which enables us to deliver our goods easily throughout the region.”

Aside from a good location and a strong customer base, Branch Manager Nick Burrough says that the success of CRS is down to a great team of staff, great customer service and good prices.

He added, “We started out with five full-time members of staff and we now have ten. We pride ourselves on employing staff who will go the extra mile for our customers. This has helped us to retain our customers and gain new ones throughout the region.

“For us the formula for success is quite simple – location, people and prices – get these right and customers will return time and time again.”

The Weston-Super-Mare outlet was the fifth branch opened. CRS Building Supplies have branches in key towns throughout Somerset including Cheddar, Wells, Highbridge, Yeovil, Watchet and Taunton.
