Bath Digital Festival is back 17-22 October 2017, celebrating all things tech in Bath. Over six days a series of events will be taking place across the city, from interactive workshops to keynote speeches delivered by industry-leading speakers.

This year’s theme is ‘Tech for Everyone’, with almost fifty events packed into less than a week.

The festival kicks off at 8am on October 17 with an event at the University of Bath Innovation Centre.

The Business Exchange columnist, Nathan Baranowski from ojo solutions, will be discussing ‘The Myth of Digital Business Transformation’, exploring the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation over coffee and croissants from 8am-9:30am.

Other events taking place throughout the week include a Digital Art Show, a Photo Walk with Apple, a Game Tale Showcase, GDPR workshops, Google seminars and coding for kids. For a full schedule of events click here.

Bath Digital Festival’s aim is to bring people and technology together, allowing everyone to explore the thriving digital scene in Bath and get hands on experience with the latest projects.

Each year it’s run by a team of volunteers, overseen by the Bath Digital CIC (Community Interest Company), and supported by event sponsors. This year Dyson and Natwest are providing headline sponsorship, with further support from other local companies including Curo, Bath College, Mayden Academy, University of Bath and ojo solutions.

Bath is recognised as a hot-bed for digital and technological innovation supported by the world-class facilities and businesses based at Bristol & Bath Science Park, University of Bath Innovation Centre and The Guild.

Festival tickets costs £15 and under 12s go free. To find out more visit: www.bathdigitalfestival.com
