Bath-based creative agency goes for growth

Creative campaign agency Ready has taken on four major new clients as its growth plans continue to accelerate.

Ready has been chosen to develop creative marketing campaigns for Burt’s Bees, No7 Cosmetics, Hearst Magazines UK and BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.

The agency is supporting the UK launch of natural beauty brand Burt’s Bees’ 100% natural lipstick range. Ready’s digital team has built an online ‘hub’ containing product information, competitions, interactive features and a social media wall.

Another new beauty client, the Boots-owned cosmetics brand No7, has tasked Ready with the creation of a mobile app that allows customers to discover and purchase the perfect shade of make-up for their skin tone.

For Hearst Magazines, whose UK titles include Cosmopolitan, Red and ELLE, Ready is developing a series of Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day campaigns aimed at attracting new subscribers across its portfolio.

Meanwhile the agency is working with BCS’ brand and marketing teams to improve the way the organisation communicates with its members.

Dave Corlett, Ready’s new business director, said: “We are delighted to welcome four wonderful new clients on board. We look forward to working with each of them closely in what we hope will become trusted and valuable long-term relationships.

“As our plans suggest, we are an ambitious agency, and adding to our client roster is a crucial part of our strategy for growth. So we are over the moon to be doing so with such prestigious and recognised brands.”

Ready rebranded in late 2015, changing its name from Xcetra Media and announcing a five year plan to triple in size.

Since then the agency has taken on three new hires, and later this month will complete a move to larger premises on Lower Bristol Road.
